Been working hard to hear her say that.

Over-focusing is better than under-focusing.

The long way is the shortcut.

Common sense. Not common practice.

Looking out a second floor residential window — Shortly after the rain and thunder.

Sunshine as paint.

The sunlight’s intensity seems higher than normal.

Yet the sun is the same sun every day. Perhaps the thunderstorm’s dimness facilitated more intense awareness.

Today is a rest day.

Note: You get ‘points’ for sitting around on rest days. No telling what you might ‘see’.

car battery — Could have removed the battery, driven to WalMart, exchanged the dead battery for the replacement, driven home, and reinstalled the new battery. Or, go to the AAA app, from home, place the order, pay a higher price, but rest through the entire process.

Did you say rest?

Yep.

Sleep.

Rest days.

Plus light, medium, and heavy workouts.

You can be working out yet backing off, intentionally – this is a rest variation.

Rest like you mean it.

Disney University — Such a short bike ride. A decent jog (one way). And an hour walk (one way).

The glorious vibrancy ripples.

Mental vibrancy (growth mindset) and spiritual vibrancy (peace and contentment) support physical wellbeing.

Even though mental and spiritual don’t move a muscle.

The next three posts, hopefully (optimistically) will be written from a good and decent perspective.

Context: When being publicly ridiculed, refuse to succumb to futile self-defense. Public, crowd-ridicule is a unique spectacle and we should pray for every good and decent friend to take a stand to stop it.

Exercise music

cinderella castle — Somewhere near 50 years ago, two Rock & Roll albums were a Christmas gift from a same-age cousin.

Over the decades, music has been non-negotiable while exercising.

Paradoxically, music has also been non-existent while exercising.

Ebbing and flowing as circumstances and technology dictate.

Currently, with Air Pod Pros and always carrying an iPhone, music is consistently the first choice.

Sometimes it’s phone calls, sometimes podcasts, and sometimes, just the wind.
