Role models can be tricky.
Especially when they are media stars (take Steve Jobs for example).
All we see is the A-reel highlights.
Thinking this role model’s life is filled with the things we don’t have can be insidiously dangerous. The list of things that get in my way but not Steve’s way…
- Not enough time.
- Conflicting priorities.
- Pressures from everywhere.
- Not enough resources.
- Few, if any, faults.
- Plenty of courage and creativity.
Seriously?
