Physical taxes

Physical taxes are paid as we engage in movement or slothfulness, nutrition or junk, rest or restlessness, motivation or unmotivated, you name it.

Some taxes make perfect sense.

Some taxes are expensive.

Some taxes seem unwarranted, even foolish.

It is up to me to choose my activity, fuel, rest, and motivation.

Then, from my choices, fair taxes and unfair taxes are levied.

It’s been a decades-long goal to get and stay in the move-fuel-rest-motivation tax bracket.

Physical vibrancy has a ‘focus-and-discipline tax’ that i gladly pay as if it’s a luxury tax.

Life’s interruptions shouldn’t last too long

My associate and i took a deep dive into the company books yesterday. Photo: From this week’s visit to One Man’s Dream.

In an effort to force myself to get my 2016 tax paper ready to drop off at the tax preparer’s office, i skipped the three-hour exercise investment yesterday.

Normally, i hand over all my receipts and have the tax preparer tally and categorize all the expenses.

This year i decided i should have a better understanding of my costs; how much, when i spend, and where the money goes.

So i did it myself yesterday.

What an incredible experience.
