Failure and Walt Disney we’re companions for many years.
Failure just means things will take a little longer.
Keeping a small business running is one thing.
Growing it is entirely different.
The stakes are higher.
There are more mouths (employees) to feed.
All costs grow exponentially.
Hiring, training, insurance, real estate, equipment, leadership, payroll, legal, marketing, and so on.
Same thing happens with our health.
The healthier we get, the more effort required.
When you go from eating one healthy meal a week to 21.
When you go from a 10-minute evening walk three times a week to running (30 minutes per day) five days a week and going to the gym three days a week for an hour each visit.
When you go from never stretching to stretching 15-minutes a day, five days a week.
And so on.

The previous two years, as an 11 and a 12-year-old, were unsuccessful summit attempts. The air is thin at 7100′ and the 500-foot (50 stories) elevation gain over 1.5 miles takes labored steps and breathing.
Late July and still shedding the heavy winter layer. And a nice reward for our climbing efforts to be treated to such a close encounter.
