Cleanup and cooking fire. Win-win.

We are zoned so that a ‘cooking fire’ is okay.

The bed of coals is stunning after a hurricane because you have so much fuel.

We also collect, bag, box, tie, and drag tree debris to the road.

Our yard, like i’ve always said is our gym.

Hurricane radar
Awoke at 1:35AM. We are just North of Milton’s eye.

Lots of tree debris in our yard from high winds in the 50-80mph range.

No visible exterior structure damage.

Relieved.

Grateful.

As Milton aims for Florida, it’s still a Cat 5, but it’s down to 145mph.

The beauty of serving at Disney for 6.6 decades (combined) is the habitual focus and discipline (and creativity) we inherently bring to every challenge and opportunity.

Hurricane Milton news brief
A single major hurricane is concern enough. A second one after another last week…no one can be prepared for this historic event.

The Gulf Coast is gonna be destroyed.

Meanwhile we are gonna do everything we can today to buffer ourselves from being ‘destroyed’.
