Hayward Field under construction, February 2020. A few days ago (March 29-ish) Japan announced 2020 Games postponed until July 23, 2021.

Had forgotten that 11 years ago i was training for the 2009 Masters Track & Field World Championships in Finland (see red hyperlink above).

The 50-54 age group is a highly competitive group.

Walt was so crazy

Disney Dream is possible because of the extra inch (bottom left).

 

Walt was so crazy that at one time he envisioned having an actual theater curtain and our Guests would wait for it to open like at the theater.

Our Imagineers and operations people convinced Walt that making our Guests wait one more time was too much.

So the earthen berm became the curtain and the left and right entrance tunnels allow our Guests to enter as soon as they are ready.
