Rising Sun Cabin, 1-night hole, body

Christmas tree in a tee-shirt shop
Trying to score the upper right blue t-shirt.

Unwrapping the gift the Universe gave me.

Every day.

All day. Day after day.

Gets old?

Depends on my mindset.

Day 7 St Mary, Triple Divide, body

group of small dicey character figurines
Wondered what it would be like to bring five dozen Disney figurines. So i decided to find out. Not gonna lie, it was extra space and weight i’d rather not carry.

Shoulda, woulda, coulda.

i clearly remember habitually using those words.

i clearly remember burying those words.

people near a National Park sign
You can barely see her…Cheryl is sizing up the impending series of photos of the three people in front of the sign.

Someday is a mirage.

It gives false hope to thirsty people.

Mountains
My guess is no one noticed the Hidden Mickey i put in this little stream a few years ago. But if someone did tell me, their mind would be blown.

Want to blow your mind?

Want to have fun?

Want to grow beyond your wildest dreams?

Move, rest, and eat things you (and most) don’t consider reasonable or worth it.

Day 4 St Mary, Triple Divide, body

Mountain trail
Prior to 2021, three years ago seeing a bear 1/2 to 1/4 mile away was exciting.

Grizzly Bear
September 2021, the most magnificent GNP animal encounter for me in 50 years.
two people on a mountain trail
September 2021. We were on the top side of the trail and had to pass this Grizzly. The distance from the trail to the bear is easy to envision.

Told Cheryl that we’ve come a long way. From getting excited about seeing a pea-sized bear far in the distance to not feeling excited unless the bear is so close we think we might be attacked.
