Going-to-the-Sun Road is 50 miles long. Construction began in 1918 completed July 15, 1933. It took until 1952 before all 50 miles were paved.

The road opened in 1932.

The road was finished 20 years later.

You could drive on it starting in 1932.

Wasn’t entirely paved until 1952.
