Have had the privilege to bicycle the 15 miles one-way from Avalanche Creek to Logan Pass. More than once. And also once with Chapin. Never with Cheryl. Until this trip. Bicycling when Sun Road is closed is Magical. No vehicular traffic is allowed past Avalanche Creek’s sizable parking areas. Why? Snow. Going-to-the-Sun Road and Logan Pass don’t open to vehicular traffic until mid-June to as late as mid-July.
