Absence makes the heart grow fonder. So looking forward to his morning’s 25-mile roundtrip bicycle ride to the gym and back. Not to mention the hour inside the gym.

Time does not care what you want.

The scariest thing, to me, is using “the future” as an excuse to postpone exercising regularly, eating in a balanced way, and getting adequate rest.

A constant mantra, whether for exercise or any life category:

Find a million ways to stay motivated

Yesterday was another in a million ways. Registered and paid for entry into three events (400, 800, 1500) at the 2015 USATF Masters National Outdoor Championships.

It’s also motivating that it’s in Florida.
