On yesterday’s Zoom call two smart people publicly proclaimed their dislike for hiking.
Something felt off about their adamant dislike.
The Zoom was no place to unpack this.
But unpacking is what happened after the call.
Context: Hiking is walking. Hiking is walking outdoors.

Most illness stems from neglect.
Certain genetics, mutations, and other rare conditions create exceptions to the broad statement.
Inactivity, which is neglect, leads to a host of physical health ailments and even to disease.
Inadequate rest is another form of inactivity. Chronic sleep deprivation creates fertile environments for bad conditions to grow.
Other neglected health areas: neglecting nutrition, neglecting flexibility, neglecting your core, neglecting your muscle strength and cardiovascular capacity, and neglecting your motivation.

How does it feel?
