Of course it’s uncomfortable

Disney motivational speaker
Common sense, and often too little in common practice.

Of course it’s uncomfortable.

What?

Pursuing your dream with vigor.

Personal vibrancy, is this not what you deserve?

i knew dessert was potentially a temptation

Disney Keynote Speakers
Last night, back at my old stomping grounds.

Fourth trip to Disney in the past week. Last night to our Flagship Disney Resort.

Met up with a High School buddy and his wife for dinner at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa Citricos restaurant.

My wife met Rene and Cheryl two years ago at our 40th High School reunion in Pennsylvania, but our son was meeting them for the first time.

He did a great job indulging his attention on four people old enough to be his grandparents.

The meal was superb.

There was only one no sugar dessert.

i would have easily skipped dessert, but the ambiance and the company inspired me to partake.

The “i quit sugar” lifestyle change finishes week 11 tomorrow. Grateful for a no-sugar option.

Humans are like water

pizza delivery failure
Last night we took the easy way out for dinner. Ordered Pizza Hut Cheese pizza. i always open the box while the delivery person is still holding it. i didn’t answer the door last night. We let it go and i ate the “imperfect slices”. We did not call Pizza Hut.

Self-motivation is critical to master because humans are like water – we seek the easiest route forward.

This morning’s 5:15am run in 39-degree weather had me highly motivated 30 minutes ago.

Highly motivated to avoid the 39-degree cold weather (by Orlando standards) and come up with a perfectly reasonable excuse rationale for skipping today’s run.

Only the motivated can motivate (a catch 22)

Conference agenda in spanish
Upcoming conference agenda doesn’t mean much if you can’t read Spanish.

conference speaker micro-bio
Closer inspection (on the right) yields an inflated description. However, depending on how you define director, then yes, it’s accurate.

Only the motivated can motivate.

(Yes, there is a catch 22)

Only the active, determined, committed, and driven can get and remain healthy and well.

These people are motivated. Their karma can motivate others.

There are also inactive, casual, uncommitted, and unmotivated people who will never be able to get and stay well and healthy.

Poor examples can also motivate us – thus, the catch 22.

Being active, determined, committed and driven can be learned, practiced, and parlayed into great health habits.

Everything we do is a habit and ritual.

Either for good or for not so good.

Grateful for a weekend workout

high school class trip
Yesterday in Europe.

Grateful for a weekend workout.

Grateful for 8 hours of sleep as well.

Our Son (18) returned late last night from a week-long High School Senior trip to Europe.

Grateful my wife did the airport pickup and delivered another student to their home.

Easily an after midnight bedtime for all of them.
