GNP Day 52, physically

Mountain at sunrise
Don’t recall seeing the sunrise move left to right on Clements. Normally it’s top to bottom.
Interestingly, Oberlin’s summit did not get lit first.

Explained to Chuck that we will encounter almost no one. This is remarkable because Logan Pass is a zoo from the time the lot fills up until late afternoon.

Ain’t nobody got time for a zoo.

Four people at trailhead sign
We are not setting a mileage goal. We will hike until we feel we’ve gone far enough, then return. Hike starts at 11:00 AM.

Physically, we reap what we sow.

Forecasts help us plan for the future days.

Forecast the weather? Of course. Why?

Forecast your health? Nope. Why?

Blackfeet artwork
Photo: Glacier Park Lodge a few days ago. Blackfoot artwork at front desk.

Sure could use a medicine man/woman about now.

The good news?

DayQuil and NightQuil seem to be doing the trick.

Have had headcold-like symptoms for three days.

Fatigue, cough, fever.

Yep.

Turns out these are classic Covid-19 symptoms.

Mountains and Lake
Zooming in. Never gets old.

We checked out at 10:30 AM and drove to airport. Chuck and Barb arrive at 2:00 PM. It’s a three-hour drive, one way.

We move to a different cottage on the same hill. From the Presidential Suite to a standard deluxe room. From 3-bedroom, 2-bath to 2-bedroom, 1-bath. Smaller everything. Yet we have everything we need.
