Eastern racer

7-second video: Speaking of snakes. Here’s an Eastern Black Racer. Same one as yesterday? Same one as an hour ago?

Apple Watch on someone’s wrist — Five laps around the yard equals a mile. Did 15 laps mid-morning. Almost stepped on a four-foot Eastern Black Racer snake.

Running is the greatest freedom i have ever known.

With my unintentional suntan, you can call me an Eastern Tan Racer. Been a racer since the neighbor said, “Race you to that tree.” Running progress is slow and steady. Yesterday’s seven mile walk included 1.5 miles of fartlek, an alternating fast run pace for short bursts and then slower pace or walking.
