Moving well is a privilege

Moving well is a privilege.

Resting well and fueling well enables moving well.

Make no mistake.

Vibrancy emanates from doing the basics brilliantly.

Thriving is not surviving. Surviving is not thriving.

The human body is not a tree or a rock.

It is meant to move.

Move like you mean it.

It is every able-bodied person’s cosmic privilege.

What’s on the blogging horizon?

mountains
Such a privilege to have access to bonafide wilderness.

Never in a million years.

We’ve all heard that expression.

Never in a million years implies impossible.

Is the 15th year the final chapter?

Is the 15th year the half-way mark?

Note: The mental, spiritual, career, and home workouts of a 15-year daily-writing streak compliments the focus and discipline required to get physically vibrant, stay physically vibrant, and continuously improve your physical vibrancy.

April Fools Eve 2009

24-second video: This is what some do when they hear the news.

Fifteen years ago, on April Fools Eve 2009, i doubted my ability to write five blogs a day for 100 consecutive days.

Unfathomable to think i could accomplish that 100-day, self-imposed-writer’s-bootcamp impossible goal.

Tomorrow, year 15 begins.

Talk about unfathomable.

Sheeeez.

Yet here we are.

Lane 8 passed the baton

Teddy Bear in track starting blocks
Lane 8, the outside lane, is the worst lane in the one-lap 400 meter sprint. You cannot see any of the other runners.

In 1999, i received a physical wakeup call from a medical report. It led to a decade of slowly and steadily regaining physical vibrancy.

Just realized that representing the USA at the 2009 Masters Track and Field world championships in 2009 was only four months after starting this prolific blogging habit.

Think about that. A decade of continuous improvement culminating in an impossible achievement.

Lane 8, the worst lane (and this website’s URL) for the 400 meters passed the baton to blogging and said, “go, do something impossible”. Only in hindsight can you see this.
