Rest and administration

Discovered the selfie stick can be used without holding it, using the detachable bluetooth button and the small built-in tripod legs.

Rest and administration.

The rain and cold, windy weather yesterday was perfect timing for an all-day work administration day, and, a day of physical rest.

The paperwork of life and the physical recovery from ascending and descending bigger elevation gains and losses – a timely combination.

Note: i saw it coming and planned for it – a small example of over-focusing and being intentional, rather than letting things happen and being less intentional.

When you change what you see

Mt. Reynolds (L), Hidden Lake (center), Bearhat Mountain (R).

When you change what you see, what you see changes.

See yourself as active, vibrant, and enthusiastic and follow that trail to becoming so.

Rocky Mountain high

Rocky Mountain high at 9,156′.

Overcoming fears is a big deal.

Maybe you fear you can’t become physically vibrant.

And when you do, holy cow, you will feel like an overcomer.

This is a big deal.

Two out of three ain’t bad

Swiftcurrent Motor Inn rooms have a nice desk, but no connectivity. Given a choice, i will not stay here again, even though the location is incredible.
The two small dark blue buildings are a Tiny Home. Living area is taller building, bathroom is smaller building on left. Mountains looming in background. Strong wifi and cell signal in room. The light blue buildings are also a Tiny Home configuration.

One: Glacier National Park is one to two hours away from Kalispell airport, depending which part of the park you’re in.

Two: My two iPhones travel everywhere in my pockets.

Three: One week of poor connection is one week too long.

Connectivity is iffy and often non-existent, depending on where you are in the park.

Last week in Swiftcurrent was less than ideal. Loved the location, cringed the access.

Yesterday in St. Mary the Wi-Fi and Verizon was awesome.

Yesterday was a rest day because winds and temps in the Swiftcurrent Valley were too harsh.

Winds of change

First yellow at eye level. Have seen only a few branches of yellow along Sun Road. This tree is near my Swiftcurrent Motor Inn room.

Winds of change happen slowly, and almost invisibly if you’re busy.

But if you are mindful and present, you get the first glimpses.

The first glimpses, in either direction, can excite or discourage you.

When your clothes begin to feel looser (or tighter), for example.
