Why did I wait so long to make the obvious move? Because the New Balance 473’s that worked for a decade were discontinued in 2010. Bought two pairs of Asics in 2011, but the honeymoon was over quickly. So I found three old pairs of 473’s that hadn’t been donated to Good Will.
I’d buy four pairs at once and retire one pair every three months. Since I no longer log the milage I did a few years ago, they actually held me over for a year…
