Yesterday’s hike took us past Hidden Lake, and far off Hidden Lake trail’s well-worn wooden boardwalk. Ten miles. Six hours. Zero people but us out on the catwalk. View as we head back towards Mt Reynolds.
If you could hike 10 miles in Glacier National Park near the Continental Divide, would you do it? Could you do it?
And if the elevation averaged 7,000’, still doable?
And if the wind was constantly blowing at either side of 30+ mph?
My answers: yes, yes, yes, and yes.
Yesterday’s 10-miler behind Mt Reynolds, in the hard-blowing cold, high-elevation wind was extraordinary.
Live like you mean it!
