First light on Granite.
Not sure how Howard spotted the Big Horn Ram laying on the rocks.
The climb up the spur trail took an hour.
Ten seconds from the trail summit.
First glimpse, Grinnell Glacier Overlook.
An hour to hike about a mile.
Opposite side of the overlook, looking into the Lake McDonald Valley on the center horizon.
My third time hiking up here. But never at sunrise.
Over-focused on the same details others under-focus on or ignore.
The Happiest Place on Earth is where ever you are at the moment. It’s our call.
Not gonna lie, i do not like being the first one on the trail. Also don’t like being the only ones on the trail.
We were both.
It was exhilarating.
