What Are You Willing To Give Up?
The question is always present. It never goes away. “Why are we doing all this hard work?”
You must overcome not having a clear, concise, and compelling vision. Once you do, you then have a ready answer.
Why are we doing all this hard work?
Example ‘ready’ answers:
- So that a patient never feels like their nurse is going through the motions. So that nurses deliver compassionate care to match their clinical excellence.
- So that no one dies in our self-driving vehicles.
- So that no one has to worry about whether their water is safe to drink.
- So that no one feels discrimination.
- So that every Guest has the best vacation of their life.
- So that my (our) son has easy access to the best of the best, comprehensive, Disney ‘Organizational Vibrancy’ Business Wisdom from my lifetime at Disney and Disney Institute.
