It ain’t for everyone

In the 272 days i’ve been in Glacier National Park, this day is day 269. To get Jody acclimated, we did a 10-miler with maybe 800′ elevation gain. Fairly mild physically. However, it is another remarkably easy hike with exceptional visual payoff.

Not only did the last minute Mt Oberlin summit “fitness test” blow my mind, but the final drive down to West Glacier did too.

First the Grizzly sighting as a personal, karmic farewell.
