Topping the blogging streak

Cinderella Castle clock close up
Time flies.

Tax Day (April 15) 2000 marks the genesis of my longest fitness streak. i challenged a Disney Institute colleague, Bob, to do one push-up a day for a week. Each week we added another rep. Two weeks, two push-ups a day. Third week, three pushups a day, etc. Bob made it three weeks. i made it 104 weeks.

Biggest Covid-19 gift?

Unique Disney sign
Nugget Way strikes a chord. Nuggets are worthless unless we cash them in.

Covid-19 gifts me with an awareness and reassurance that being prepared for life’s unexpected, brutal tests is much better than being unprepared.

In your face

The reason you carry water, a first aid kit, a headlamp and a satellite GPS communications device when you hike into the wilderness, is the same reason you carry vibrant health with you.

If you face a serious health issue will vibrant health be an asset or a liability? Said a different way, if you face a serious health issue will the lack of vibrant health be an asset or a liability?

Never gonna happen

After 7 weeks of high altitude hiking, guess my fitness level. That’s correct. Who would not want that?

It’s hard to imagine anyone waking up later in life thinking, “I wish I wasn’t this fit.”
