Paris to Normandy Cruise, body

Paris sunrise
Our hotel’s 7th-floor rooftop around 6:45am. April 21. Notre Dame and the French flag.

Dying from yesterday’s jet lag, awoke at 1am, 2am, and 3am. Feeling refreshed each time, i convinced myself to work hard to keep sleeping.

Must have gone into hibernation mode because the next time i woke was 6:30am.

Quickly ascended two floors to the rooftop.

Snapped the Paris sunrise pic with Notre Dame Cathedral and France’s flag.

Five more minutes to our hotel.

Touchdown 8:53am.

Ten miles from Port, 21 miles from hotel, one hour travel with uber-style taxi (booked in Orlando a week ago).

Booked Hotel with Expedia. One night.

A travel-day buffer to mitigate the low chance of travel delays.

Taxiing in Orlando.

It’s official.

Gonna do my best to not do my no-gym gym workout while in France.

Time will tell.

Last day at home, body

Half marathon happened, without trying. Actually, walked 14 miles but only thought to catch this photo.

Walked five miles in the morning.

Then nine more doing yard work.

A huge push yesterday to get our freeze-damaged landscape into good enough shape to feel okay being gone for the next two weeks.

Today?

Inside. Admin-work. Rest day.
