Day 1 hike

Brian (left) and Rob (right), descending from Siyeh Pass.

Rob hiked 10+ miles and gained 2,300′ elevation on his first Glacier National Park hike.

We hike again today and then tomorrow Rob flies back to Orlando.

We are also getting eight hours of sleep.

We are over-focused on doing things that benefit our health.

If you don’t have to, physically

Minimum of five hours in the car yesterday.

If you don’t have to, why would you?

You’re an adult and you can pretty much take any life path you want.

You’re the CEO of You, Inc.

If you don’t have to have eat well, sleep well, and maintain a vibrantly active life, why would you invest the time, energy, and karma to develop, maintain, and enhance your physical wellbeing?

Rest and administration

Discovered the selfie stick can be used without holding it, using the detachable bluetooth button and the small built-in tripod legs.

Rest and administration.

The rain and cold, windy weather yesterday was perfect timing for an all-day work administration day, and, a day of physical rest.

The paperwork of life and the physical recovery from ascending and descending bigger elevation gains and losses – a timely combination.

Note: i saw it coming and planned for it – a small example of over-focusing and being intentional, rather than letting things happen and being less intentional.

When you change what you see

Mt. Reynolds (L), Hidden Lake (center), Bearhat Mountain (R).

When you change what you see, what you see changes.

See yourself as active, vibrant, and enthusiastic and follow that trail to becoming so.

Overcoming fears is a big deal.

Maybe you fear you can’t become physically vibrant.

And when you do, holy cow, you will feel like an overcomer.

This is a big deal.
