What daily writing needs physically

Disney Customer Service speaker on a mountain
Can you imagine telling Walt Disney, “That’ll never work.”
6-sec video.

What does daily writing need physically?

Daily writing needs a physically vibrant temple (and template). Daily writing needs strength, endurance, flexibility, “nutrition” (ideas), core (values), rest (thinking time), and motivation.

Commitment to move forward?

trip packing
In addition to the two layers i’m wearing on the plane tomorrow, there are five more in this photo. Nothing is heavier than a thin layer.

Commitment to move forward?

Do you have it?

Then show us.

It’s not the Magic that makes it work

Florida State Tree
Near Cocoa Beach, 2012.

It’s not the Magic that makes it work.

It’s the work that makes it Magic.

While i will be visiting one of my favorite places on the planet, i will also be working extraordinarily hard to do something remarkable.

Finish writing seven Disney Business Books before the end of the year.

Walked so we could write

Disney's Boardwalk Resort
We walked to Epcot yesterday, an off-day for exercise. Button is intentionally in photo.

Epcot Innoventions West
Our destination.

After Lectoring (and Cheryl served as EMHC) at 8:45am Mass, our son and i visited Epcot for lunch and to write. Day 31 of an epic 365-day writing challenge.

All told, we walked three miles. A nice break from running.

Rest is under-rated

Disney App for Cast Members
The thought of going to Disney World the day after Glacier seemed exciting. It’s not gonna happen.

Rest is under-rated.

Reminded of how ineffective i am compared to a rested me.

Never get bored with the basics.

Go to bed early, wake up early (and fully rested).

Then get more done in the first few hours of a new day then most do in the whole day.
